RAVE® second language acquisition system was developed by Rob Maher as a strong option for children whose needs are not being met in the traditional system of teaching.

His background includes over two decades of entrepreneurship working on a wide range of challenging projects that demonstrated his ability to consistently deliver.

With more than 19 years of professional experience working with children in Ireland and Bulgaria, he is Cambridge ESOL qualified teacher, a Mechanical Engineer Technician and  professional gymnastics instructor.

Rob’s work as an educator reflects his appetite for innovation and his appreciation for bodily health and physical movement. His philosophy on education stems from his experience as both a student and a teacher and a belief that we need not ever accept the status quo. 

As part of his business experience, he has published hundreds of advertisements, prints, websites, short movies and received awards for producing events and marketing. Rob is an Irish citizen who currently lives in Sofia (Bulgaria) where he is the founder of an innovative English language school called TWOFISH.
